What can I expect from T23?

Because you have signed up and given your trust to us, we can ensure that you will receive the utmost professionalism, expert coaching and motivation in order for you to reach your physical potential, create a team spirit & camaraderie with your fellow members, and also ensure that you have fun whilst doing it. Our classes are about results, and results come from the personal attention and coaching from our highly experienced T23 coaches.

Do I have to be fit before I start attending the classes?

Absolutely not, as every workout can be scaled to each individual’s fitness level, so anyone can join in on the fun! We regularly have people that have literally never worked out a day in their life right next to a person who has worked out their whole life – and they are doing the exact same thing, just scaled appropriately to their respective fitness levels. The only requirements are that you have a positive attitude, a willingness to work hard, to learn new things, and have the desire and passion to let us help you reach your fitness goals. We want to coach anyone desiring to get into the best shape of their lives.

Am I too old to join the classes?

You are never too old to start our sessions. If you have any concerns then please come over to the gym and we can address them, and help you realize that you’re never too old to slow down the aging process. We can also introduce you to plenty of other members that had the same reservations that you did.

What does’ WOD’ stand for?

WOD stands for the ‘Workout of the Day’. Every day the WOD will be different.

What if I can't do the movements in the WOD?

Every time you come to the classes there will always be scaling options available, in order to ensure that every member can carry out the workouts safely and effectively.

I sometimes see the workouts are quite short?

Sometimes our workouts are a shorter time domain, but also very intense, and all the magic happens with intensity! We like to work in different time domains, skills, strengths and movements, in order to achieve all round fitness and the best results possible. As long as you are attending the classes regularly, you will benefit from all aspects of the program.

What do I need to bring with me?

Normal workout clothes (t-shirt, shorts, leggings, and comfy training shoes). A small towel and water bottle are optional but are encouraged.

What time can I attend, and will I be training alone or with a coach?

We have classes scheduled from early morning, right through to the evening. The difference between our CrossFit and Unloaded classes compared to your average gym, is that each time you attend a session you will have a minimum of one coach who will take you through a structured warm up, execution of the specific WOD and its training stimulus, along with a proper cool down. As well as constant coaching and feedback throughout.

Can I come in and workout on my own?

We do have Open Gym hours, for our member to come and do their own training. Timings can be found on the ’schedule’ tab at the top of the home page.

I’m a little nervous about getting started?

Don’t worry! we’ve all been there…the ‘new kid’ in class. Everybody at T23 is always open and friendly to new members. We pride ourselves on promoting a family-like atmosphere of support and camaraderie amongst our members. Everyone remembers what it was like for their first class, and we all want to see each other succeed. Most importantly, we won’t ever have you do something that you are uncomfortable with, or that is too advanced for your current fitness level.
